Is Kick & Dive free?
Yes, completely. The site is supported by ads shown outside of matches, for example on the home screen and between one game and the next.
Do I need to download anything or create an account?
No. The game runs right in the browser. You just pick a nickname, which is saved on your device.
Does it work on mobile?
Yes. The game was designed mobile-first, with touch controls. On a computer, you can play with the mouse and the space bar. Up-to-date browsers (Chrome, Safari, Edge, Firefox) work best.
How do I play with a friend?
On the home screen, click Create Private Room. The game shows a 5-letter code and a button to share the link. Your friend opens the link or types the code under Join Room, and the match starts.
Can my opponent see where I'm going to shoot?
No. Choices are kept on the server and only revealed once both players have decided. Not even the computer, in practice mode, sees your move.
What happens if my connection drops?
The game tries to reconnect automatically and you return to the same match. If the connection doesn't come back within 15 seconds, your opponent wins by forfeit.
Why did my shot go over the bar?
You probably stopped the power bar above the green zone. Too much power makes the ball rise. See the How to Play guide.
Which languages are available?
English, Spanish and Brazilian Portuguese. The game picks your browser's language automatically, and you can change it anytime in the selector at the top of the page.
Is there a ranking?
Not yet. A ranking and customizable kits are in the plans.
Is the game linked to any club or championship?
No. Kick & Dive is an independent game, with its own characters and look.
